Emily Laycock has been our Operations Manager since the beginning of 2009 bringing with her a wealth of experience in business finance, compliance and team management.
We asked Emily what changes have happened to CFS since 2009?
“I joined the team during a period of major change and development as we were just starting to develop the new XML (computer language) with Companies House and simultaneously implementing the Companies Act 2006 which became law in October 2009, since then we have continued to develop our website software to ensure we strive to be always one step ahead of our competitors. I was pleased to be part of the launch of our new website in 2016 which had been 2 years in the planning. It’s brighter, more current and has fast easy to use navigation.”
What do you like best about your role at CFS?
“This is extremely hard to answer as my role is so diverse and every day is different, I love dealing with clients both in the UK and Internationally but I also love researching our products to ensure the services we provide are second to none.”
Finally what do you enjoy when you’re not working?
“I am a bit of a shopaholic and I love dining out, but most of all I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young sons.”
Emily is now looking forward to celebrating CFS’s 15th anniversary!
